<title>Moving prescription only medicines to over the counter sale in the United Kingdom.</title>
<link>http://www.pagb.co.uk/switch/PAGB_Podcasts/PAGB_Podcasts.html</link>
<description>Switching is the process of moving medicines which previously have only been available on prescription (POM) to availability for sale over the counter (OTC) as pharmacy medicines (P) under the supervision of a pharmacist. This process called switching or reclassification widens public access to safe, effective over-the-counter medicines and provides greater convenience and choice for the public, it also helps reduce the burden on the NHS.</description>
