About this guidance

PAGB’s Guideline: Food Information for Consumers Regulation and other Labelling Requirements for Food Supplements explains the requirements of relevant legislation that applies to food supplements labelling, and what you need to include when producing labelling for food supplements products.

It includes a table of mandatory labelling requirements, allergen labelling requirements, a labelling checklist and links to the relevant legislation.

The guideline was developed with PAGB’s Primary Authority at the time of publication, Westminster City Council.

This guideline is being updated to reflect changes in regulation following EU exit and other guidance updates. An updated version will be published here when it is available. For queries about food supplements labelling, contact foodsupplements@pagb.co.uk.
