The Medical Devices Consumer Code (“MDCC”) was approved by the PAGB Board and then adopted by the full membership at PAGB’s AGM on 27 September 2018. It replaces the Self Care Medical Devices Guideline.
The MDCC will apply from 2 January 2019 to all medical devices in scope of PAGB membership. Submitting for copy approval will not be mandatory during this “grace period” to allow time for Members to amend their procedures and undergo training.
FREE TRAINING FOR PAGB MEMBERS AND ASSOCIATE MEMBERS
PAGB is providing four free training sessions on the PAGB Medical Devices Consumer Code and we recommend that all ‘named contacts’ attend one of the sessions. Attendance is also open to other members of staff involved in the medical devices advertising approval process. This training is not open to non-members.
Additional training dates will be released as part of the 2019 workshop calendar. These will be open to Members and non-members, and will be payable at the standard workshop rate.
