Food Supplements Regulatory Workshop
Food supplements are among the most tightly regulated of foods, with multiple layers of regulation that interact, overlap and are sometimes contradictory.
The Food Supplements Regulatory Workshop will give you an understanding of the regulatory environment for food supplements, including the Nutrition and Health Claims Regulation and the labelling of food supplements.
The Food Supplements Regulatory Workshop covers:
- The regulatory jigsaw – legislation and key organisations
- Nutrition and Health Claims Regulation
- Advertising and self-regulation
- Medicinal vs. health claims
- Introduction to food supplements labelling requirements
Who should attend?
People working in a regulatory role relating to over-the-counter food supplements products. The workshop is also recommended for marketing teams and agencies working with clients on food supplements products to better understand the regulatory environment.
PAGB also offers a separate Food Supplements Advertising Workshop which covers the do’s and don’ts of food supplements advertising.
This is a full day workshop held at PAGB’s central London office from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm, including a light lunch. The workshop is delivered by PAGB’s Food Supplements Regulatory Manager and supported by the wider team. You’ll receive a pack of information, containing copies of the presentations, practical examples and other useful materials, to take away, and we’ll send you a certificate of attendance after the event.
