Entries are coming in thick and fast for the upcoming OTC Marketing Awards, which this year celebrates its 30th anniversary. If you’ve worked on a clever campaign or pioneering product launch then don’t miss out on the opportunity to take home a sought-after OTC trophy.
But don’t delay. The deadline for submitting entries to the event known as ‘the Oscars of the OTC industry’ is Monday 1 September 2025.
All entries are reviewed by our expert judging panel – who decide the winners, runners up and highly commended – ahead of the presentation ceremony hosted by HBW Insight which takes place on Thursday 20 November 2025 at the Royal Lancaster London.
This year there are 12 categories open for entries, covering numerous marketing disciplines including social media, TV and digital campaigns, as well as public relations and brand revitalisation.
The event’s 30th anniversary sees the launch of a new category: Best Purpose-Driven Investment in a Consumer Healthcare Brand. Judges will be looking for evidence that the campaign or launch in question aims at, and measurably achieves, a wider social or environmental benefit. Examples include the introduction of recyclable packaging, encouraging positive consumer behaviour change, celebrating diversity in marketing, working with charities or advocacy organisations to promote social or environmental causes.
Supported by PAGB and sponsored by Precision and Dexcel, the OTC Marketing Awards welcomes entries from consumer healthcare companies large and small, as well as agencies and associates.
Submissions are open to launches and campaigns carried out between August 2024 and August 2025. All entries must relate exclusively to UK marketed consumer healthcare products, including licensed non-prescription medicines, food supplements, herbal and homoeopathic remedies, self-care medical devices, plus numerous selected unlicensed healthcare products.
