PAGB attend Labour’s Investment Policy Roundtable

Earlier this week we were pleased to attend Labour’s Investment Policy Roundtable, hosted by Rushanara Ali MP, Shadow Minister for Small Business and Investment. The roundtable was convened to discuss the key barriers facing a wide range of small to medium businesses in attracting investment to the UK.

PAGB’s Head of Public Affairs and Communications, Farhana Hawthorn joined on behalf of PAGB and our members, and was able to highlight the economic value of over-the-counter (OTC) medicines, which contributes £3.5bn to the UK economy each year, in addition to the need to recognise the OTC sector as a cornerstone of the life sciences sector.
