Last week, we were pleased to be invited to participate in Deloitte’s panel on ‘Powering the consumer health revolution’.

Our CEO Michelle Riddalls OBE joined the interactive panel discussion alongside PAGB’s President Mike Knowland from Bayer and Vice-President Bas Vorsteveld from Kenvue representing their respective companies, as well as one of our Board members Joanne Cooper from Haleon.

The event focused on how companies can better engage with empowered consumers and ultimately improve health outcomes. Additionally the panel discussed the support and education that trusted brands provide to consumers through digital channels, empowering people to take charge of their own health.

Michelle shared an overview on the period of transformation that consumer healthcare is undergoing, highlighting the message of self-care and the key role of pharmacies, as well as the need for self-care to be part of the government’s 10 year health plan.
