This week, we released our updated summary of MHRA’s regulatory guidance for medicines. This substantial update follows the numerous changes to guidance since implementation of the Windsor Framework in January 2025.

This week, we released our updated summary of MHRA’s regulatory guidance for medicines. This substantial update follows the numerous changes to guidance since implementation of the Windsor Framework in January 2025, concentrating on the key guidance relevant to OTC medicines.

PAGB’s summary brings together information from the various guidance pages on the MHRA website, clarifications from MHRA where relevant, and contains links to where more detailed information can be found. Members will find this a useful overview for licencing, maintaining and supplying of medicinal products throughout the UK.
