The food supplements advertising workshop gives you an overview of the self-regulatory system for food supplement advertising in the UK and provides practical advice on keeping your campaigns compliant. We cover the core elements of the PAGB Food Supplements Guideline including Nutrition and Health Claims and provide best practice guidance on copy clearance submissions.

You’ll review practical examples of advertising to understand how to apply the rules and have the opportunity to ask questions of PAGB’s advertising experts.

The food supplements advertising workshop covers:

  • Regulatory and self-regulatory control of food supplements advertising including
    • New processes for GB following our departure from the EU
    • Details of the new GB register of nutrition and health claims
  • What is a general health claim?
  • What is a specific health claim?
  • What is a nutrition claim?

Who should attend?

Anyone working on advertising and marketing for food supplements products will find this course invaluable for understanding the rules around advertising food supplements.

Format

This course takes place between 10am – 1pm (approx).

The workshop is delivered by members of PAGB’s advertising team who use a combination of presentations and case studies during the sessions and encourage interaction and questions. You will receive copies of the presentations, practical examples and other useful materials to take away, and we’ll send you a certificate of attendance after the event.
