Expert advertising support*
Our specialist advertising compliance team will make sure your advertising and marketing materials meet industry standards for OTC medicines, self care medical devices and food supplements products.
As a PAGB gateway member, you’re eligible for our expedited pack design service, significantly speeding up the process of MHRA approval for your pack design changes and content.

Effective engagement and networking
We use our expert voice on behalf of PAGB members in regular meetings with Government ministers, officials, regulators and stakeholders across the consumer healthcare industry.

We’re members of the European and world bodies that encourage and support self care (the AESGP and the Global Self Care Federation).

Day to day benefits
Use of PAGB’s central London meeting rooms.
PAGB offers free use of its meeting rooms to members, and very reduced rates for associate members. We also invite our members to hot-desk at our offices if you’re in the area (subject to availability).
Is my company eligible for Gateway membership?
Companies that are either seeking to reclassify a medicine, i.e. undertaking a switch from a prescription only medicine to a pharmacy or general sales list category medicine; or developing a new product or introducing a new product to the UK market
How much does Gateway membership cost?
The fee for gateway membership is £2950+VAT at 20% annually and this is charged on a pro rata basis from the date you join. Gateway membership covers you and colleagues working within the UK consumer healthcare department. Once your product has been reclassified or the development of your product has been completed, we will support you to move into full membership.
