PAGB’s Consumer Code for Medicines outlines the rules that apply to advertising materials aimed at consumers for OTC medicines in PAGB membership. We require all our members to adhere to this Code to ensure that the UK OTC medicines industry continues to maintain its high standards of compliance and consumer confidence in self-care and the advertisements they receive for your medicines.

The Code covers all branded promotional materials which our members have editorial control over and applies to advertising for all OTC medicines regardless of their route to market.
