Social Media Advertising Workshop
Join us for this workshop to learn how to apply PAGB’s codes and guidelines on social media for OTC medicines, medical devices and food supplements.
This training programme has been developed based on PAGB’s recently updated positions and includes new examples. The session was first launched as part of PAGB’s Digital Week and presents an excellent opportunity to ensure that you’re up to date on the current application of the guidance.
The workshop will cover:
- How to ensure ads are clearly identifiable
- Fulfilling essential information and nutrition and health claims requirements
- When you can work with celebrities or influencers
- Creating content featuring health care professionals
- Using reviews and testimonials compliantly
- Interacting with consumers on public platforms
Who should attend?
A ‘must-attend’ workshop for people working in an advertising or marketing role for OTC medicines products, and their suppliers and agencies. Anyone with an interest in the self-regulation of OTC medicines advertising (e.g. regulators, other trade associations).
The workshop is delivered by members of the PAGB advertising services team who use a combination of presentations and case studies during the sessions and encourage interaction and questions. You’ll receive copies of the presentations, practical examples and other useful materials to take away, and we’ll send you a certificate of attendance after the event.
